These drawings were commissioned for a limited-edition, non-commercial book that tells the story of a young girl named Stella. Now that she’s getting older, learning to read, and discovering the world around her, Stella still possesses the vivid imagination of childhood, where dreams of adventure come to life effortlessly. To mark this special time in her life, her family gifted her a book filled with stories, each written by a different family member. Every story takes Stella on a new journey, an adventure that reflects her growth, curiosity, and the enduring magic of childhood. What makes this book unique is the pairing of each story with a detailed drawing that visually narrates Stella's adventure. These illustrations are more than just images—they are windows into Stella's world, each one capturing the essence of her experiences. From magical landscapes to faraway lands, the drawings invite Stella to see beyond the written word, sparking her imagination and inspiring her to dream even bigger. Through these stories and their accompanying artwork, the book becomes a treasure that connects her not only to her family but also to the limitless world of her own imagination. This project represents a delicate balance between reality and fantasy, providing Stella with both a tangible connection to her family and the freedom to embark on countless imaginative adventures. The book itself is not just a collection of tales but a personal heirloom, one that will grow with Stella as she continues to explore the world—both real and imagined.
